CAS is Europe’s leading event for shaping the future of digital transformation. This year’s summit focuses on current topics and trends in the field of identity and access management (IAM). Attendees will learn more about the critical role of IAM applications in business development to enhance the customer journey. The event will run in conjunction with Cybersecurity Leadership Summit Europe (CSLS) 2018, taking place from November 12-14 at the Humboldt Carré Conference Center in Berlin.

On Tuesday, November 13, at 12:10-13:10 (7:10 – 8:10 a.m. EST), Måns will speak at a session titled “Dynamic Authorization – The Missing Link for the Digital Enterprise?” The session will cover how dynamic and fine-grained authorization supports a consistent and unified way to handle sophisticated access control requirements in the digital age.

On Wednesday, November 14, at 14:10-15:10 (9:10 – 10:10 a.m. EST), Måns will speak again on API security titled “Beyond OAuth: Securing APIs with Policies and Attribute Based Access Control.” During the talk, Måns will discuss how Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC), OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) are complementary standards that are used individually or together to offer comprehensive access control for applications that are built using microservice and API approaches. The audience will learn best practices about API security basics, avoiding bad security practices, overcoming OAuth limitations and managing authorization as a microservice.

“CAS brings together a combination of security experts and thought leaders from around the world to discuss issues related to data security,” said Måns. “We are looking forward to sharing our thoughts on topics like access control, API security and DevOps while also learning more from other industry experts.”

CAS attendees will also hear a mix of inspiring lectures, best practice presentations from end-user companies and solutions from leading IAM providers. The keynote speeches and trade exhibition will be held together with the CSLS 2018 Europe. Attendees for the CAS 2018 will also have access to the CSLS 2018 sessions.
