Axiomatics to Sponsor and Exhibit at IAM CONNECT 2018 in Berlin

Generali Germany Informatik Services Presents Case Study Demonstrating the Success of Axiomatics Dynamic Authorization Engine

CHICAGO (March 6, 2018) – Axiomatics, the leader in fine-grained dynamic authorization, will have a significance presence at IAM CONNECT 2018, being held March 19 – 21, 2018 at the Hotel Marriott in Berlin.

Axiomatics’ presence at IAM CONNECT 2018 will focus on showcasing its proven dynamic authorization suite delivered with Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) to help organizations establish fine-grained access control to address complex control and compliance needs, and to more efficiently and effectively manage access to critical assets. These demonstrations will take place at booth #1 in the Exhibition area in Berlin 2 and 3 at any time.

On Tuesday, March 20, at 10 a.m., Tobias Reimann, RS – IT Risk and Security, Generali Germany Informatik Services GmbH, will present “A practical implementation of ABAC in a German insurance company.” The presentation will cover the evolution from Role Based Access Control (RBAC) to ABAC models, allowing organizations to dynamically assign authorization based on attributes.

During his presentation, Reimann will demonstrate how dynamic authorization moves beyond the identity of the user to grant authorization. Instead, it leverages attributes, such as the position of the user within a company, time of day, location of user, device being used, to decide whether they are authorized to access or not.

“Our dynamic authorization suite is the fastest policy engine on the market. It ensures that users only have access to the information they are authorized to see, and nothing else,” said Niklas Jakobsson, CEO of Axiomatics. “We are thrilled that Tobias Reimann will present a feature case study that includes our best-in-class dynamic authorization software to help organizations establish fine-grained access control.

As the IT environment continues get more complicated, organizations have moved away from RBAC approaches, toward an ABAC approach to manage and change complex access control models.

“We deliver the most complete solution available for enterprise-wide roll out of  ABAC,” said Jakobsson. “Our solution enables businesses to effortlessly control access to critical information assets.”
