BEinGRID EU FP6 project08

11/03/2008 Axiomatics in collaboration with British Telecommunications (BT), CRMPA and Atos Origins in the BEinGrid EU project.

The goal of this collaboration is to incorporate and test XACML 3.0 within the BEinGrid project as a foundation for an authorization serivce that is offerred as a common capability to some of the 25 Business Experiments of the BEinGRID project. BEinGRID Business Experiments cover a variety of market sectors including Finance, Media, Engineering and Telecommunications among others. One of the first BEinGRID Business Experiments to use this common capability is developing a demonstrator of an SOA-based distributed enviorment for collaborative high-performance on-line gaming.

Axiomatics will also integrate Axiomaitcs Policy Server 2.0(former known as Delegent) with BT's WSS Gateway, a next-generation Web Service security solution, that brings together a selection of ESB, federated identity, and secure message processing fucntionality in order to securely integrate Enterprise services. As part of this solution Axiomatics Policy Server 2.0 will be integrated with SOA security appliances and ESB products from a selection of leading-edge SOA vendors.

The project will be pursued in close collaboration with the SOA Security Research Group, BT Group CTO, and it will end in December 2008. The project relates with a larger research programme at BT Group CTO on Service Oriented Infratructures (SOI).
